Grant Hoeft was born in Flint, Michigan and lived in Rogers City, Michigan for a number of years. Primarily a self-taught Artist, Hoeft was in his twenties and pursuing studies in Graphic design when he suffered disabling injuries after being sick by a car. While physically limited, Hoeft continues to paint in a variety of subjects including portraits, animals, landscapes, sunsets, birds, building interiors and lighthouses.
